Dr. Sopuruchukwu Chima acquired his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California as a part of his formal education. Upon completing his degree, he served various areas of greater Los Angeles. He has been serving the community of Long Beach for 3 years now.

When he is not in the office, you can find him doing outdoor activities such as traveling, snowboarding, basketball, working out, and playing pickleball. You might see him around at various courts as pickleball has become an everyday activity where he gets to be involved with the community. He arrived in Long, Beach back in 2013 where he attended California State University Long Beach. He fell in love with Long Beach and always wanted to be a member of the community. He now gets to live his dream living in and serving the community of Long Beach.

He is a dentist with 4+ years of experience, offering various dental services, including new patient dental exams for adults and children, dental cleanings, composite fillings, crowns, veneers, dentures, whitening, root canals, extractions, and more. He is an expert in managing a wide range of dental problems and disorders. Dr. Chima pays close attention to his patient’s concerns and develops their treatment plans accordingly, enabling them to receive the necessary care.

Dr. Chima recently acquired his practice that has been established in the Bixby Knolls area for over 20 years. Patients have iterated that he helps them achieve and preserve their best smiles. He is an advocate of preventive and patient-focused care which is catered to their individual needs. He is always interested in the latest techniques and technologies to make modern dentistry a more comfortable experience. He enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry, whether it be to improve aesthetics, to reclaim function or to provide relief of pain for patients of all ages. He is committed to continuing education especially in my areas of interest such as implants, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
